Anne A. Laing CA

Partner

Anne trained as a chartered accountant in a professional accountancy practice and having qualified in 1983 started up her own practice almost 30 years ago in 1990. 

In addition to now being the senior partner in this business she is an executive director of a financial services company where along with her dedicated and specialised team she delivers fund accounting services to regulated fund structures throughout the UK.  Anne is a Responsible Individual registered to carry out audit work in the UK by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of Scotland.

In her spare time she enjoys the countryside and spending time with her family and also likes to get involved in local community activities.

Roy J. Laing MAAT

Partner

Roy joined Anne A. Laing Chartered Accountants in 1993 and has been a partner since April 2009.

He is a member of the Association of Accounting Technicians.

He enjoys delivering all parts of our services to businesses in varied sectors in the local community.

When not working he can be found spending time with his family, walking, cooking, watching football and playing Bridge.

 

Heather Laing BA

Executive Assistant

Heather has a BA in International Tourism Management. She currently manages the office, working with clients, completing administrative and regulatory tasks, data inputting, processing wages and making travel arrangements.

Out with work she can usually be found volunteering with Girlguiding Moray, interacting with young people, planning weekly activities for her unit.

She likes walking and is currently working towards her Karate Black Belt. She enjoys cooking and loves to travel and explore new places.  She is also interested in fashion and loves shopping..

Moira Turner

Accounting Assistant

Moira Turner, the voice of Anne A Laing Chartered Accountants for the past six years.

She works part time with Roy, Anne and Heather all day on Tuesdays and Wednesdays and on Friday mornings and looks forward to helping you then.

She lives in Elgin with her husband and three grown up children. She moved to Moray from Fife in 2006 and absolutely loves it here.

In her spare time she likes to travel, taking in a city break is one of her most favourite things to do. She also enjoys pottering around in the garden and watching tv box sets, usually crime mysteries.
